What Happens when the Love for Jewellery and Real Estate Meet?

When one looks at Dubai’s skyline at night, it is very evident that the glittery night is made spectacular by Dubai’s skyscrapers and by its lights that shine as bright as ever. Although many metaphors can be rendered to Dubai and the way it looks when the sun has set under the horizon, the best would probably be drawing a direct comparison to a fine piece of crafted jewellery. Each has its own shine and shimmer, and both of them keep the observing eye hooked onto it, unblinking.

But what happens when the love for jewellery and a real passion for developing fine architecture meet? Well, the simplest answer would be – the Bulgari Residences!

Bulgari Residences

Bulgari is one of the oldest Italian jewellery houses, dating back to 1884. The trademark is usually written in the Latin alphabet and is derived from the founder’s surname Sotiros Voulgaris. He was a Greek immigrant who came to Italy with only 18 cents in his pocket with terrific skills that drove him to work day and night and proceeded to open his own shop in 1884. He was the one to lay the foundation to showcase elements that are now proud trademarks of Bulgari designs, and these were first derived from the ancient Greek and Roman influence on jewellery.

A luxury powerhouse in its own right, the company’s dazzling clientele alone speaks volumes about it. From legendary actors like Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn and the Princess of Monaco to present Hollywood A-listers like Naomi Watts and Uma Thurman, all have donned Bulgari pieces of art at one point or another.

Romance of Jewellery

The romance of jewellery and real estate started in 2001. Alongwith the turn of the century, came the turn of events for Bulgari when it ventured into luxury real estate with the Bulgari spa – a joint venture with Luxury Group, of Mariott International fame. This group also manages the Ritz Carlton, another spectacular name in hospitality. Hand in hand, they launched what is now called the luxury hotel brand Bulgari Hotel and Resorts. It opened the first Bulgari hotel in Milan in 2004, and a host of hotels and serviced apartments followed suit.

Much closer to home, the exquisite property owned and managed by Bulgari stands tall on Jumeirah Bay Island, and is slated for completion in the spring of ‘18. Possessing the key to the best views of the Palm, the Bulgari Resort and Residences are located in a community that brings the best of shopping, food and lifestyle very close to those who have made it their home. The residents also enjoy a host of amenities for entertainment as also the best modern and contemporary furnishings, right within their classy abodes. In a perfect symmetry between modern and contemporary, the interiors are an absolutely reflection of the humble Italian beginnings of Bulgari.

Moreover, the apartments are in close proximity to The Bulgari Resorts, one of five resorts by the brand in the world that opened its doors in December 2017. To add to the seamless experience of living here, the residents are provided with easy transport to and from the island via a special 300-metre bridge that is exclusive only to those residing in the property.

With a residents-only access to the private Bulgari Marina and Yacht club that has gained popularity for its 52 spacious berths, this community is already being hailed as yet another hit by the legendary brand.
